Here are 20 lessons I've learned you should know to grow on X 👇
- Keep your posts structured, people are constantly bombarded with visual clues, so simplicity is key!
- People like growth charts!
- Sharing your MRR growth builds trust: it gives the signal others trust you with their money!
- Some have 15k followers and still have no engagement because they get the new X wrong! Be observant of how the algorithm behaves.
- X rewards high engagement, the more bangers you post the better your subsequent posts do!
- Don't share empty MRR charts, tell a story, and explain how you got there!
- Sharing MRR charts out of the blue wouldn't work, people need to be familiar with your story, so post all small wins from the beginning!
- Don't be afraid to write long posts if they provide value. Some of my best-performing posts are long!
- Almost all old X/Twitter advice doesn't work today, do what works today - the X algorithm changes.
- Wait at least 2 hours before posting again
- Repost your posts that did well 9 hours later to get engagement from people in a different timezone!
- Don't engage with anything outside your "market", and do not engage in politics, you'll confuse the algorithm and get less engagement
- Reply to everybody and engage with the content of those who help you.
- Read your posts to yourself and ask yourself the question "Is this something I would engage with?"
- If you're a small account, engage with at least 100 people daily. No shame in being a reply guy.
- Get X Premium, your posts will get no engagement otherwise.
- Post daily, or you'll lose any "engagement credits" the X algorithm has granted you.
- If you subscribe to a big account, your replies will appear on top. Subscribe to big accounts and click 'notify me' to be #1 to reply and appear on top.
- Posts in "Highlights" get a boost but overusing it will have no effect!
- A good, genuine story sells better than a sales pitch!
